Volunteer Vacancies for our Help-line
The answer is probably YES,
because you have taken the trouble to have a look at this request.
We
ask for a minimum of one three hour shift a week. Working from home on the
telephone.
Shifts run between 10.00 a.m. and 10.00 p.m. No Panic operates everyday of
the year.
Attendance at telephone support groups is mandatory and involves one hour of
your time. These groups start on a fortnightly basis and over a period of
time move on to bi-monthly. There is also a small amount of paperwork.
Last
year No Panic took over 60,000 calls.
Training
is of the highest standard and is carried out, over the telephone, in a group
situation.
This works extremely well and successful students receive a certificate at the
end of the course.
You
may be interested to know, that after one year on the help-line, you can take
further training, if you wish, to become a telephone recovery
group leader. Want
to know more? No
Panic is a registered charity and everyone involved works as a team.
